PodCamp Boston Musicians

Are you a podsafe musician? Want to play an acoustic gig at Boston's premier podcaster meetup? Let us know - register!

PodCamp Recording Policy for Podsafe Music

If you are a podcaster or vlogger, the following terms apply for music recorded at PodCamp:

  • You may record so long as doing so does not impede the enjoyment of the performance for other listeners. (i.e. no shoving people out of the way to get closer to the stage)
  • You must release recordings under the Creative Commons license as non-commercial.
  • Should you release your recordings, you must provide attribution to the band including a direct link on your web site and show notes.
  • You must provide the bands with a copy of the recording upon request.
  • You are expressly prohibited from reselling a band's music unless you have a written contract with the band. They're here to support new media, and deserve our support in return.
  • You MAY resell the band's previously cleared music through authorized channels, such as the CD Baby affiliate program, iTunes affiliate program, etc. on your web site or show notes. (again, help out artists who are supporting new media!)
