New England News Forum is holding a conference out at UMass Amherst.
Looking into coordination between PodCamp, Vloggercon, Media Makers, Social Media and Bill Densmore on logistics for conference space and dorm room availability.
Flesh out some ideas about program, length, costs, charges, etc. Bill already has the dates reserved at the Campus Center at Umass.
I think it's time for another Media Giraffe event -- but we have to do it really low budget some how, or get a grant really quickly.
The best way to make it work and scale is to get lots of different groups working on it -- so it is like a series of 10 or 12 meetings all convening in one place and having some common programming.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo! Why not? I was all set to take my scooter out west. How can we include the masses (or the MA's) if they can't make it to UMass Boston? We could do home and home. UMass Boston and UMass Amherst the same weekend. $50 for Boston, free for those in the far-west suburbs. Snif! Sadness. Maybe in 2010, if podcasting is still around.

Only a boy from Boston would call Amherst "Out West". And, yeah, too its cancelled. Its right up the road.
