PodCampUK an awesome 2 day event bringing all the excitement and ideas of energy of a PodCamp to the UK.
This unique event promises to be a brilliant mix of ideas, LIVE music, FREE food, great people and much more...PodCamps are designed as Camp-style meetups for podcasters, geeks, musicans listeners, bloggers, and readers, and anyone interested in New Media. The first PodCamp was held in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006 and they are now spreading across the globe.
We have sponsorship from both Cheeze & Podcast Nation. The extent of this remains to be completely determined, but we have more than enough to move forward.
Nick Saalfeld from Wells Park has very kindly offered to buy the drinks!
The event is taking place othe 1st and 2nd of September at the New Technology Institute in Birmingham.
We're also starting the process of session planning - all ideas welcome. Contribute to this wiki. Edit it and add your ideas and thoughts.

I notice there's a "Podcast Awards 2007" featured on the schedule. I didn't know there was one and haven't seen any info about it. Who's running it, who's judging it, how do you enter? Or is it just a bit of on the spot fun where we all decide the winner and there are no losers? Cheers, Alex
