Welcome to PodCamp Seattle!

WARNING

You may want to turn off change notification to this wiki - you're likely to get a ton of emails as this event comes together.

OVERVIEW

Thanks for stopping by to check out our fledgling efforts to kick off PodCamp Seattle. This is our first Puget Sound PodCamp and it's coming together pretty quickly.

Like other podcamps, this is an informal, 5- or 6-hour "unconference" event around online social tools: blogging, podcasting, videoblogging, microblogging, social networks, virtual worlds, etc. Whether you're a newbie who wants to learn more or a wired geek looking to connect with others, this event is for you!

Unlike other podcamps, we will not be pitching our own companies, products or technologies. PodCamp Seattle will focus on topical learning and in-person networking. Come out, meet others and learn!

EVENT DETAILS

EVENT COORDINATOR: Eric Weaver (organizer@podcampseattle.com)

EVENT SPONSORS: Seattle Ad Club, Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association, University of Washington, Edelman Digital

TENTATIVE DATE: SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2008 - 10am - 3pm

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We need both event volunteers to help me pull this podcamp together, as well as speakers to share their knowledge with others. Speakers: this is not a company pitch session, but sharing of thought leadership. Want to speak? Pick a topic in either the Intro Track, Marketing Track or Technology Track and contact Eric Weaver with details about your presentation.
