THANKS TO ALL FOR A GREAT FIRST PODCAMP SEATTLE!

OVERVIEW

Connect, Learn, Share

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, USA - June 21, 2008 - It's a wrap! PodCamp Seattle successfully wrapped its first event! Sessions covered a wide variety of topics and despite the heat, the competition from the Fremont Solstice Parade and one of the first nice weekends of 2008 (in late June...grrrrr), PodCamp Seattle drew about 80 participants and 14 speakers to the University of Washington Communications Department.

SPECIAL THANKS go to Kathy Gill, her students and the University of Washington for providing a venue, lots of volunteer help, all the audio/video/tech support, water, snacks and signage. Thanks to the Puget Sound chapter of the American Marketing Association for providing mass quantities of Starbucks Pike Place Roast, and to Edelman Digital for providing event supplies, and to the Seattle Ad Club, Seattle Podcasting Network and Seattle chapter of the Direct Marketing Association for promoting the event amongst their constituencies.

FOR COPIES OF THE PRESENTATIONS, keep an eye on this space - and also go to http://www.slideshare.net and search for podcampseattle.

THANKS to our speakers and participants - watch this URL for future events!
